On-Demand eLearning for Sustainability Changemakers

Our e-learning modules are built for flexibility and focus. Dive into bite-sized, self-paced lessons that fit into your busy day; whether you’re commuting, on a lunch break, or up late with ideas. Learn practical tools, tested strategies, and real-world insights to drive sustainable change from wherever you are.

No schedules. No pressure. Just progress, one module at a time.

Our eLearning programs

Both of our core eLearning programs are built on the Framework for Strategic Sustainable Development (FSSD), but each serves a distinct purpose. Sustainable Philippines is an awareness course designed for broad audiences, offering accessible explanations and localized examples to build basic understanding. The FSSD eLearning is more in-depth and science-based, serving as the foundation for our advanced education programs. This course is not just about learning facts – it’s about shifting perspectives. It requires time to reflect, absorb its implications, and spark the mindset shifts needed to inspire meaningful, long-term change.

FSSD Certification Program

2x 1 day face-to-face or 4x ½ day online

The Framework for Strategic Sustainable Development (FSSD) has been evolving for over 30 years. Originating in Sweden, it has been tested and refined across a wide range of contexts – from businesses and municipalities to national programs. It has also shaped key global tools such as the circular economy and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The FSSD offers a clear, science-based definition of sustainability, defines the boundaries for sustainable development, and provides a flexible planning process that can be applied in any culture, context, or scale.

As a non-competitive, open-source framework, it complements and enhances other concepts, tools, or approaches already in use.

Strategic Leadership for Sustainability

6- or 10-Month Academic Program

A deep learning pathway for future sustainability leaders.

This program can be offered as a University Minor or Special Track, designed for students, faculty, trainers, alumni, and consultants who want to lead change with confidence and clarity.

Grounded in the Framework for Strategic Sustainable Development (FSSD), the program blends systems thinking, applied learning, and leadership development. Participants explore the ecological, social, and economic foundations of sustainability, then bring theory to life through two real-world team projects in local communities.

By the end of the program, participants will be equipped not just with knowledge, but with the practical tools and experience to create real change in their communities, campuses, or organizations.

Integrated Sustainability Planning for Local Government

6 Month Community Facilitator Program

A hands-on, action-oriented program where students support local government units (and barangays) in community planning and sustainability efforts. This is ideal for students who want to stay locally engaged, contribute meaningfully, and gain experience through Action Research and service learning.

Sustainability is about creating the kind of world we want to live in – now and for generations to come. It’s about making choices, as people and communities, that protect the health and well-being of others, the planet, and future generations.

Communities are complex. They’re made of people with different needs, priorities, and dreams. Planning for a better future means bringing everyone together. In the Philippines, more local governments and citizens are realizing the need for long-term thinking and collaboration. That’s where Integrated Sustainability Planning for LGUs (ISP-LGU) comes in.
