Twenty years of sustainability, from plan to practice
FutureFit Collab did not begin as an agency, but as a series of places where people wanted to make sustainability truly work. A foundation, an innovation hub, the Dutch branch of The Natural Step, partners in Japan and the Philippines. In 2024 it all came together in one studio for sustainability culture and leadership, local and global.

From separate initiatives to one studio
Sustainable Enterprise Foundation
Berend and Nobby found a non-profit that helps organisations shift from reducing impact to creating value. With an early sustainability database for procurement and decision-makers, and scientific frameworks translated into practice.
International Center for Sustainable Excellence
ICSE opens, a 4,000 square metre innovation hub where business, government, science and society meet. More than 40,000 professionals took part in programmes and conferences. In partnership with the City of Eindhoven and the DOEN Foundation.
The Natural Step Netherlands
Berend and Freek found the Dutch branch of The Natural Step and build a national platform for strategic sustainability with the science-based FSSD framework. 60+ housing corporations, dozens of municipalities and hundreds of companies guided, 2,000+ professionals trained live, 3,000+ online.
Partnership with Bcon International
A partnership with Bcon International from Japan brings proven behavioural and leadership methods. Change that does not only sit on paper, but sticks in behaviour.
Partnership with ACG Human Capital Solutions
With ACG Human Capital Solutions in the Philippines we embed sustainability in strategy, culture and daily practice through leadership and transformation programmes, from Manila and far beyond. Dr. Gem Brion Zabala joins and brings rich experience in leadership development and team collaboration.
Founding of Nature's Leap
Nature's Leap BV becomes the legal home for the work across Northwest Europe and Southeast Asia.

In Makati, Metro Manila, this summit has connected young talent with companies and organisations for seven years, with the goal of more sustainability in education.
