Your organisation has a sustainability strategy.
Now it needs leaders who live it.
From ESG Obligation to Sustainability Leadership
A 10-week online programme for ESG managers, sustainability officers and municipal leads who want to move from compliance and reporting to genuine culture change.
10 participants maximum · €2,500 to €4,500 per participant
Science-based FSSD framework · Corporate, municipal & university clients · Built by a practitioners, not theorists
This programme closes it.
You finished the ESG audit. You submitted the report. You sat in the board meeting and presented the numbers.
And then you went back to your desk and nothing changed.
That is not a data problem. It is a culture and leadership problem. And it is more common than anyone admits.
- Wall 1Strategy exists on paper. It does not exist in daily decisions, procurement choices or team behaviour.
- Wall 2Leadership talks about sustainability. Middle management waits for someone else to make it real. Front-line employees have never been asked.
- Wall 3ESG frameworks tell you what to measure. They do not tell you how to shift a culture, build a coalition or make the sustainable option the obvious choice.
A programme about leading change.
You already know the sustainability concepts. This is a programme about leading change from where you sit, with the resources you have, in the organisation you are actually in.
You leave with a direction, a design and the development to stay the course when the pressure is short-term and the resistance is real.
Async learning modules
(weeks 1 to 9)
Each week, one focused module of 60 to 90 minutes. You work through it at your own pace, on your schedule, without live obligations during the week.
Monthly live group calls
(months 1, 2 and 3)
Three 90-minute live sessions with the full cohort. You bring real cases. You work through real obstacles. You leave with a plan you wrote yourself.
Your organisation as the classroom
Every assignment is built around your actual workplace. You do not write case studies about other companies. You work on your own challenges and your own stakeholders.
FutureFit Leader Path
ESG Managers and Sustainability Officers
You work in a company that has targets but not traction. You know what the strategy says. You want to know how to make it move.
Municipal Sustainability Leads
You are expected to move the whole organisation and have limited formal authority to do it. You need practical tools for building alignment without a mandate.
HR and L&D Professionals
You know culture change is the missing piece in your organisation’s sustainability work. You want the framework to make it happen, not just advocate for it.
You are not a beginner. You know the frameworks. You need the leadership skills to make them work in your specific organisation, with your specific people.

The question I hear most from sustainability leads is not “what should we do?” Most already know what to do. The question is: “How do we actually make it happen here, with these people, in this organisation?”
I have spent over 20 years answering that question in practice. In housing associations and municipalities across the Netherlands. In businesses and public institutions across Europe. At board level and alongside front-line teams.
I founded The Natural Step Netherlands in 2009, endorsed by Professor Karl-Henrik Robèrt, the scientist who developed the FSSD framework. I trained more than 2,000 sustainability professionals live and helped 60+ Dutch housing associations develop their sustainability strategies.
FutureFit Leader Path is the programme I wish had existed when I started. It is built on everything that actually works, and leaves out everything that sounds good but does not change behaviour.
I lead every cohort personally. That is not a marketing line. It is a commitment.
